Which JR pass is best value?

Hi,

I looked at my timetable app and it thinks the cost would be:

Tokyo - Shin-Fuji (Shizuoka) = ¥2590
Shin-Fuji - Kyoto = ¥10680
Kyoto-Osaka = ¥560
Shin-Osaka - Tokyo = ¥13940

A 2 week pass is much more than this total, so maybe it's worth just buying individual tickets?

Just to add a little. Travel from Tokyo - Shin-Fuji is ¥ 5,390 by Shinkansen. Even so, Shin-Fuji is a station in the middle of an industrial complex, there's really nothing to do. I would recommend visiting Fuji five lakes, Hakone or the area around Gotemba instead if you wish to visit Fuji.

As for the JR Pass, I do think that normal tickets would be the better option because of your timing. A 7 day JR Pass would have been a good option when you made the return Tokyo - Osaka within 7 days.
