Can I change my order into a Rail pass as soon as I arrive, and then validate it a couple of days later?
Or, is the pass valid as soon as I have changed it?

Hi there!
Yes, you can do that. When you change your order into a Rail Pass you can specify an activation date any day within the next 1 month.
