Should I purchase JR Pass?

Hi,
I will be flying in to Tokyo and out Osaka on the 5th April till 13 April 2013. Will be moving around the two main city, Tokyo and Kyoto, throughout my trip. Would it be advisable to buy a 7 Days JR Pass?

Hi there,

The 7 day JR Pass is about the same price as a return Tokyo Osaka. One way is ¥ 13,550 and if you will only travel locally after in Kansai it is not very economic. For instance one way Osaka -> Kyoto is 540 Yen.
