Questions about trains and timetable information

We have bought the jr pass for september 2012 and we would like you tell us the best way and the timetable for this plan of travel (in tokyo we are staying near shinjuku station):
DAY 1: TOKIO TO NIKKO AND NIKKO TO TOKIO
DAY 2: TOKIO TO KAMAKURA, KAMAKURA TO YOKOHAMA AND YOKOHAMA TO TOKIO.
DAY 3: TOKIO TO HAKONE
DAY 4: HAKONE TO TAKAYAMA
DAY 5: SHIRAKAWAGO TO KANAZAWA
DAY 6: KANAZAWA TO MIYAJIMA
DAY 7: MIYAJIMA TO HIMEJI AND HIMEJI TO KYOTO

Please, I wait for the trains name and the departure and arrival time. Thank you so much!

Hi there!

You can look up train timetables and costs for most of these legs at the Hyperdia travel planning website and learn how to use Hyperdia for Japan Rail Pass holders through our video blog.

Here are some points on some parts of your trip just to be careful about:

DAY 3: TOKIO TO HAKONE

For this step you will have to aim for ODAWARA. From Odawara you will have to use the Odakyu rail lines to get up to Hakone. I reccomend using the Hakone Free Pass for this.

DAY 4: HAKONE TO TAKAYAMA
DAY 5: SHIRAKAWAGO TO KANAZAWA

For Shirakawago from Takayama (and return to Takayama) you will have to take the Nohi bus from Takayama bus centre. Here's a [link to their timetable]. As this bus is not JR you will have to pay a charge to use this service.

It looks like a great trip, you should be able to find all the other details on the hyperdia website I mention above.
