Hi!

I'm going to Japan for Holiday next March with my friends, 4 of us.
I will arrive at Osaka on 7th March in the morning and leave from Tokyo on 13th March evening so that should be 7 Days.

Me and my friends are planning to stay at Osaka for 2 nights (leave on 9th), then travel to Kyoto and spend 1 night (leave on 10th) and then travel to Tokyo and spend the rest of our time around Tokyo.

we are wondering whether we should purchase the 7 Days JR Pass or not.

Hello there,

I would buy normal rail tickets here, a JR Pass is great when you make a return Tokyo - Osaka but traveling one way simply costs less.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
