My family & I will be arriving in Tokyo at Haneda Airport.
After spending 4 days in Tokyo, we travel to Kyoto for 9 days.
We will do day trips to Hiroshima, Himeji, Nara, Osaka,
We then travel to Okayama for 4 days, Takayama for 4 days and then return to Tokyo for another 4 days.
Will we need a JR Pass or just use local trains?

Hi there,
Because your itinerary is spread out, I wouldn't suggest purchasing a JR Pass, as it is unlikely that it would be your most cost-effective option because of the fact that you'd have to purchase one with a longer duration to fully cover your itinerary. My suggestion would be to purchase your tickets individually.
