Do you need to use the 7 day roil pass within 7 days or can you stay a couple of days in one area then move on to the next area.

Hi Maureen,
The JR Pass is valid for 7 consecutive days, so it will count down from the 1st day that you use it.
That said, some customers travel more in 1 day than the actual cost of a JR Pass. You don't have to use it everyday to make effective use of one.
