Hi, we are a week from leaving New Zealand and just discovered that we need to apply and have something sent to us. My questions though are 1) We are only travelling from Narita Airport to Tokyo and to Hakone and it looks like we only need a JR East Nagano Niigata pass x2 for 15 days but it looks like you can only pre-order passes for the whole of Japan, can we pre-order and get a voucher DHL express or should we wait till at the airport? 2) Have I worked out what pass we need correctly? Thanks

Hi there,
For your itinerary I wouldn’t recommend utilising a pass in the first place, it is certainly more cost-effective to purchase your tickets individually over such a period of time.

If there a transport app I Japan for trains and busses for purchasing tickets as we go or do we need cash or card?
