Hello

I have just received our JR 14 day pass however on my sisters the name doesn’t fully match her passport

JR pass Mary Monty
Passport Mary Smith-Monty

Will it be accepted as the company I bought from won’t reply😣

Hi there,

Unfortunately there is a likelihood that JR can refuse to exchange your pass, although various websites/personal accounts say that they have had no issues exchanging the pass without putting their middle name. I can’t make any guarantees as it entirely depends on where, when and who will be there when you exchange your pass.
