Hello.
I have few questions ahead of our trip to Japan this October:
- is there is any charge to JR pass for children under 5 years old?
- can JR pass be used for Tokyo metro?
- can we get to Takayama using JR pass?

The JR Pass covers travel to Takayama, as well as any other JR line nationwide. Transport run by other companies is not included, such as the Tokyo Metro.
