Hi, we are travelling to Japan and arriving at Kansai Airport ( from Manila) - do we need to purchase the JR Pass ahead of time or we can purchase it in Kansai Airport? Also, if from Kansai we are going to Kyoto - we can use the JR Pass? and from Kyoto to Tokyo and Tokyo to Osaka? Thanks and appreciate your reply!

Hi there,
You can buy the pass upon arrival but the price is up to 20% lower when you order ahead of time.
The JR Pass also covers travel to Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka.
