Hello! We are arriving in Narita on Aug 6-15. Upon arrival we will go straight to Osaka. We will stay there then will visit Kyoto. Will stay there for 5D4N then will stay in Tokyo for 4Days. Wlill you suggest getting a JR Pass and have it activated upon arrival and Get Suica card when in Tokyo for the remaining days?

Hi there,
Yes, I will indeed suggest a 7 day JR Pass for Narita Airport - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo. This will save you nice bit of money and you can cover the major part of the itinerary.
Also using a Suica card in Tokyo works brilliantly, it is valid of basically every kind of transport and makes life a lot more convenient.
