i only want to use my pass on 3 weekends I'm their can i buy a 7 day pass or do the active days run consecutive or only when i use it?

Hi there!
The Japan rail pass can only be used on consecutive days once activated. For example if you activated your Japan Rail Pass so your date of first use was on the 1st of July, the last day of use would be on the 7th.
