I'm travelling to Japan in august.
I would like to buy JR Pass through your Agency.
I have got one question. We are travelling with our son, who was born on may 2001, which means, that currently he is 11 years old.
Is he eligible for child JR Pass.

Provided your son is 11 years old (under 12) during the period where you use it in Japan he will be eligible for a Child Japan Rail Pass.
As your son has turned 11 this may, he will be eligible for travel using the Child JR Pass until his 12th birthday in May next year.

Mari, my daughter has 11y and 10 months. She will be already 12 when we travel to Japan. I read this:
"Children who are age 6 through 11 as of the date on which the exchange order is issued are eligible for child PASS prices." (http://www.japanrailpass.net/eng/en003.html)
So, can I buy a child pass for her?
