Here’s our itinerary
Day 1-arrive Tokyo Hnd)
Day2- train to Kyoto
Da3-Kyoto poss day trip to Osaka
Day 4-Train back to Tokyo (NRT)
1/ should we buyJR pass 7 days ?
2/ if so what line do we use to go from HND to Tokyo central
3/ what line to use from Kyoto to NRT?

Hi there,
Yes, I would recommend getting a 7-day Japan Rail Pass for your trip. The cost of the pass is similar to a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto, with the airport transfers added, you can make nice savings.
2.) You can use the Tokyo Monorail.
3.) You can use the Tokaido Shinkansen to Tokyo, then the Narita Express to the airport.
