We are coming from Shinjuku with a Mt. Fuji hiking tour and will be dropped off at Gotemba station. Can we activate our jrpass at the Gotemba station?

Hi there,
The closest station would be Mishima station.
Gotemba is a really small station and the JR Pass can not be activated here.
You could also activate the JR Pass at any other big exchange station before and select a first day of use, you would not have to start using it right away.
