I want to know if the 7 day rail pass is calculate in calendar day or in 24 hours.
I'll arrive Osaka airport on April 8 afternoon for 7 days visit in Kyoto. In April 15 want to take the JR rail to Toyko for 3 days staying.
I want to confirm if I can use the 7 day pass in April 15 (the last day) to Toyko..

Hi there,
The JR Pass is counted in days (not hours) and the first day is counted as a full day. This means that the JR Pass will expire at the end of the 14th when activated on the 8th.
