It’s my first time to go to Japan. I purchase the 5 day takayama-hokuriku pass. I am based in Nagoya and will be staying there for 5 days. But I will go to shirakawa go, nara, kyoto and osaka. Can I use this pass on Jr Tokaido line in Maibara going to Kyoto? Also from nagoya to maibara? And can I use this in local jr lines in kyoto and nara?

Hi there,
The Tokaido line/Shinkansen is not included in this pass. You can use local trains between Nara and Kyoto.
