Hi we are travelling to Japan in 2 weeks time for 10 nights/11 days. We arrive in Osaka and plan to activate our JR pass to go directly to Hiroshima for 2 nights then to Kyoto for 4 nights and then onto Tokyo. Our 7 day JR pass will expire once we arrive in Tokyo.On the 5th day in Tokyo we need to get to Narita airport. What is the best option to combine with our JR pass that will allow us to travel in and around Tokyo (perhaps Nikko or Hakone) and also to Narita airport.? Thanks for your help!

Hi there!
I would certainly recommend adding a visit to Nikko before your pass expires. This would really allow you to make the most of your pass and Nikko is just great!
For travel around Tokyo without the JR Pass, consider using an IC card, such as SUICA to make travel more convenient. Or you could use a Tokyo Metro Pass which is 710yen per day and gives unlimited access to the Tokyo Metro. You can also use your Suica card for travel to Narita Airport.
