14 day pass or reginal passes?

Don't worry about Golden Week, it is an experience on its own, especially if you don't mind the crowds :)

Are you only going a one way Tokyo - Osaka using the train? In that case, you may be better off just buying a normal railway ticket. If you do plan on more travel, such as day trips, then a pass may be worth it.

we are only planning one trip from Tokyo to Osaka and one day trip from Osaka to Kyoto.
we fly into Tokyo and out from Osaka
other than that we will be on local trains within the area for example Disneyland, skytree, shrines , Ghibli museum and Yoyogi park/Meiji-jingu while in Tokyo.

Since you only travel one way, buying a normal ticket makes the most sense. You could look at local passes, such as a Tokyo Metro Day pass.
