Using JR Pass from Tokyo to Osaka

Hi,

I will be travelling to Japan next month 4 Apr and have purchased the 7 days ordinary pass, will be arriving at Haneda International Airport at 1600.

  • May i know which is the better route for me get to Osaka with JR Pass fully covered.
  • For the monorail train from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa or Hamamatsucho covered by JR Pass?

Hi there,

The Monorail only goes to Hamamatsucho. From there you can use the JR Yamanote line to Tokyo station to get on the Shinkansen bound for Osaka.
