MY 9 DAYS TOUR IN JAPAN

Encl my itinerary below for your recommendation:
D1 Arrival from Narita airport - city tour in Tokyo
D2 Tokyo
D3 Tokyo
D4 Tokyo to Mount Fuji, overnight in Mount Fuji
D5 Mount Fuji to Kyoto
D6 Kyoto
D7 Kyoto
D8 Kyoto to Tokyo
D9 Tokyo, afternoon Depart from Narita airport

Any comments on our itinineries or recommended other places to visit? We have 4 paxs. Is it advisable to buy the 7D JR pass? When should we start activate it for most efficient use?
In addition to this, any other passes that is recommended for us to purchase?

Hi there,

Yes, a 7 day JR Pass would work well here for your itinerary. The 7 day pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto and you can make savings on any additional travel you do with it. With that in mind, I advise using it from D3 - D9 for the best possible savings, this way you cover Fuji, Kyoto, Tokyo and the return to Narita airport. Note that you may have to use additional transport for Fuji, depending on where you will stay the night.
