Hello, would you please tell me if a JR pass is recommended for this itinerary:
Nov 27: Tokyo to Nikko
Nov 30: Nikko to Kyoto
Dec 4: Kyoto to Tokyo

For your itinerary it is likely that purchasing your tickets individually would be a more cost-effective option than purchasing a JR Pass, but it would cover your itinerary and enable you to make additional day trips, so it is still an option worth considering.
