Hi,
I recieved two jrpasses in the mail today We are scheduled to use these tickets starting on feb. 18. They are 7 day passes. My question is: Both passes are stamped Feb. 6, 2012 (yesterday, and date of issue). Will they be good to use in Japan on Feb 18th? We are not even in Japan yet. Is this a mistake?

Hi there,
JR Passes can be activated any time up to 3 months from the date of issue, so Feb 18th will be no problem at all.
