best 7 day itinerary

I can write up an example itinerary for you. 7 days should be enough to visit both Osaka and Tokyo, however I would also like to know where you will depart from.

With a 7 day JR Pass I would recommend a trip like this:

Fukuoka - Osaka (2d) - Tokyo - 3(d) - Kyoto (1d) - Return to Fukuoka (1d).

This way travel is spread around nicely, you get a couple of days in each city and will making amazing use of the JR Pass.
