1.) Not completely sure about your question but keep in mind that there are no trains in service between midnight and 6 am in the morning. You would have to be in Tokyo before midnight in order to visit Tsukiji the following morning.

2.) Okay, that is possible for sure.

3.) Yes, you will make very good savings for this route using the Shinkansen and you can use the Shinkansen for this.

Thank you Daniel for the immediate respond.

I will stop over at Fukuoka on 25 Jan early morning at 6am , and thought a day visit in Fukuoka would be good enough and follow by taking a night bus at 2200hrs from hakata to Kyoto.

Then spend a day in Kyoto ( 26 Jan ) and take a shinkansen from Kyoto to Tokyo in the evening. ( 26 Jan stay in Tokyo)

Stay a night at Tokyo to catch Tsujiki, and move to Osaka in the day. Since I will be travelling from Kyoto to Tokyo to Osaka, and travel internally, would the Shinkansen pass be cheaper.

Without going to Kyoto by Shinkansen, it would be cheaper to buy normal rail tickets.
