Can we use JRP on the Yamanote Line?
If not, what is the alternative to use the Yamanote-line for a few days?
Can we buy a 3, 4, 5 day pass for Yamanote line?
Thanks and regards

Hi there!
The Yamanote line, like all other local JR lines in Tokyo is covered by the JR Pass, so there's no need to buy any additional tickets at all!
If you don't have a JRP consider buying a Tokunai day pass which is 710 yen and allows for unlimited travel on local trains within Tokyo.
Enjoy the ride!
Daniel
