JRPASS CAlculator how to use

Above is my JR pass calculator..link used is https://www.jrpass.com/farecalculator/137.95/38.66/5/iM3uAGEyAMLumhZtBdDr6d7omd0yAp7pAtZtBdDq6d3uAGD9.

From Fukushima to Aizuwakamatsu is zero km. and hours. Does that mean it is not covered by JR EAst Pass (Tohoku) ?

Also the Sendai to tokyo part. Why is it zero? Am i not using the calculator correctly?

Sorry for the late reply! I thought this post was answered due to it having a reply already.

Reading it again now I realized that was your own reply.

If it shows zero in the fare calculator, that means the tool can't retrieve the costs for that train segment. This could be a variety of reasons but best would be to add the fare on paper manually, once you have calculated your total.

A JR East pass will be worth it for this trip!

I was thinking the zero meant that that train segment is not included in the JR pass.... thank you for correcting my interpretation.

But where do i get the fare cost if its not in the JRpass calculator? Would Google map directions do?
