Kyoto - Hiroshima ¥ 11,090
Hiroshima - Osaka ¥ 10,230

For a total of ¥ 34,920 or ¥ 5,820 in savings as the 7 day JR Pass is ¥ 29,110.

I think that you'll be fine traveling in regular class. Still you can find what Green Class is line in our Blog.

Thanks Daniel. I should have mentioned that this travel will be over 15 days. I will also be taking day trip from all these cities -Yokohama, Nara, Miyajima plus another few day trips for some hiking. Is it worth getting a 14 day pass?

You would have to include a little more for the 14 day JR Pass to pay off. Still you could also consider the 7 day JR Pass if you do the above travel within 7 days :)
