8 Days in Japan

Hi there,

While you only have 8 days in Japan, the amount of travel you already plan to do it quite significant and a JR Pass can help you make very good savings.

Take for instance the 7 day JR Pass. This is about the same cost as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto traveling on the Shinkansen (bullet train line). Any additional travel you use the JR pass is basically what you would save. With travel to the Snow Monkey Park (Jigokudani) in Nagano, this is pretty big.

This is all assuming you arrive and depart from Tokyo.

We have changed our itinerary to Tokyo, Tsukuba, Nagano (Jigokudani), and Tokyo Disney.
Would it still be more economical to buy a 7 day Rail Pass or just pay for the tickets individually?
