Hi Daniel-San!

I was wondering if you could help me with this Itinerary from Oct 5-19 and whether just purchasing the JR pass for 14 days or a combination of JR pass plus a regional pass would be more cost effective!

I am flying into Tokyo with my friend on Oct 5th. We have booked a hotel in Tokyo for the night.

Oct 6th - Nagano/Jigokudani (2N)

Oct 8th - Kobe (1 week)
Luckily our friend lives in Kobe so we will be staying with this person from Oct 8th to Oct 15th.
We were thinking about doing day trips from Kobe to Hiroshima, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara during our week with our friend. Do you think this is a good idea?

Oct 15-19 Tokyo
We have to return to Tokyo at this time for business, however we plan to see as much of Tokyo as possible!
