Help needed on 3 routes (Tokyo, Osaka, Hakone)

Yes, the cost of a 7 day JR Pass is about the cost as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Osaka using the Shinkansen.

With the JR Pass you get 7 days of unlimed travel for the same price.

One note on usage, you can use the JR Pass and Shinkansen to travel to Hakone (Odawara station) but not within Hakone. There a Hakone Free Pass may be useful.

Will you be able to advice me on the following?

1. Going from Tokyo (Shinjuku) to Osaka, what is the best way to get there? Is the Shinkansen a viable option?

2. From Osaka to Fujikawaguchiko, what is the best way to get their by JR?

3. From Fujikawaguchiko back to Tokyo, what route would you recommend via JR?
