3 of us will be traveling around Japan end of May till 5th June our plans are as follows:

we leave Tokyo station to Kanazawa staying there for a couple of days
Leave Kanazawa station to Kyoto staying there for a couple of days
Leave Kyoto travelling to Osaka staying in Kyoto
Leave Osaka travelling to Hiroshima staying in Osaka
Then Hiroshima back to Tokyo station staying in Hiroshima

Is the ticket good value and can all these locations be used on this ticket? Also what is the luggage allowance with green class and do we have to book?

one of our cases measures 37cm by 37cm by 74cm for example

Hi there,

If you can fit these trips into a 7-day window, I highly recommend a 7-day Nationwide JR Pass (valid from 30 May to 5 June). This pass fully covers your itinerary.

Regarding your luggage, you can store any case with total dimensions (length + width + height) under 160cm in the overhead racks without needing an oversized luggage reservation. You can find the full details for oversized luggage here.
