Yamagata & Nagano

Hi there,

I added your itinerary in our JR Fare calculator so you can get an estimate for your travel costs.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find any pass that would fit your itinerary. The JR East passes don't work as they only cover part of your trip and a 7 day JR Pass would not work as you travel more than 7 days.

Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi what would be the total price then if I booked individual tickets as your reply shows 2 amounts or would it be cheaper to buy rail passes for the 2 regions.?

Hi
What class and are they reserved seats in the pricing you sent previously. Or can yo calculate the total price based on my original itinerary?

Hi Kevis,

You can use our JR Fare calculator to get an estimate of ticket prices for your itinerary and compare it with the cost of a JR Pass. One pass you can look at for travel to Kanazawa and back is the Hokuriku Arch Pass.

Hi I’ve used the calculator but is the price ordinary car or green and does it include all cost including seat reservation cost?

Hi,

It is for ordinary class, seat reservations would be included.
