i am visiting Japan with my wife for 10 days.
we will be reaching Narita on 19th evening and will proceed to Tokyo. we will spend 5 days in Tokyo and then 4 days in Kyoto . then we will come back to Tokyo and return from Narita on 1st Oct.
which JR we shall buy and where all we could use it.

Hi there,
The best option I would recommend is using a 7 day JR Pass. The pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto using the bullet trains. You can make nice savings for any additional travel, for instance to Narita Airport, local travel within cities such as Tokyo on JR trains and for a possible day trip.
For instance you could visit Nara from Kyoto.
