Hello,
I'm travelling with my wife to Japan end this week. We will be staying in Tokyo for 2 days and then will go by train to Kyoto where we will stay 1 week. During the stay in Kyoto (or even in Tokyo) we will use mainly city trains. Is it worthwhile to buy the Japan Rail Pass.

Hi Joao,
A 7 day JR Pass may be worthwhile considering - if you can cover the return Tokyo - Kyoto. The cost of the pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket, any other travel after that, is basically free :)
