Shin-Osaka to Namba

Hi there,

You can use the metro as well from Shin-Osaka to Namba, this may be faster or most convenient depending on where you need to be exactly.

Please note that transport on the metro or bus would not be covered by the JR Pass.

When you say metro, do you mean subway? Or will this be different?

We will need to go to Namba Station as our hotel is near there.

Metro = Subway, in Tokyo its called the Tokyo Metro. In Osaka, it is called the Osaka subway.

Ohh ok, I was told that JR pass wouldn't cover subways, was this changed recently?

Sorry, that was a typo on my end. The metro/subway is not covered by the JR Pass. Updated my original post too.

So the best way for us will be to go to Shin-Imamiya then to Namba Station if we will be using the JR Pass?
