Hi, if we buy a standard JRPass for 14 days, can we buy a ticket for the Premium green class ticket on the Saphir Odoriko from Tokyo Station to Atami Station? I tried doing it online, and this site is unavailable. If so, where am I able to purchase such tickets?
Do I need to purchase the JRPass and then add the Saphir ticket to it, or can I purchase separately?

Hi there,
Yes, an ordinary JR Pass covers the basic fare. This means you will only need to purchase the Limited Express + Premium Green surcharge ticket to ride the Saphir Odoriko. As the pass partly covers the train, the easiest way is to purchase this in person at any JR ticket office (Midori-no-Madoguchi) in Japan.
