I will be entering Japan in June with a one year work visa. Am I still eligible to use the Japan Rail pass?

Hi there,
I'm afraid that the Japan Rail Pass can only be used by holders of a "Temporary Visitor" visa (usually issued to tourists for a maximum of 90 days) and is unable to be used by holders of working visas.
