Hi,

Which rail pass is the best option / good (cheapest) deal to get around to the places below? I'm flexible with my itinerary but I prefer to start from Osaka. The Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass seems great but it can be used only for 5 consecutive days?

Day 1: Osaka
Day 2: Osaka
Day 3: Nara (day trip from Osaka)
Day 4: Hiroshima/Miyajima (depart to Kyoto at the end of the day)
Day 5: Kyoto
Day 6: Kyoto
Day 7: Kyoto
Day 8: Kansai airport

Hello there,

I think looking at a Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass us the best option here. It is indeed true that its valid for 5 days and it also does not include seat reservations but can give you good savings compared to buying normal tickets.

Thanks Daniel. Does it look ok in terms of my itinerary/route flow? From Osaka to Nara then back to Osaka to get to Hiroshima? Should I use the Kansai Hiroshima pass from day 4?
