Hi....

We are a couple travelling first time to Japan. Our itinerary is as follows :-

11th July we land in the morning at Kansai airport at 730am
Stay at Osaka for 3 nights at Sheraton Miyako hotel Osaka.
How do we go from airport to hotel? Train?

14th July. We head to Tokyo, please advise which train to take from Sheraton and from which station to which station in Tokyo as we will be staying at Citadines Shinjuku hotel.
We plan to activate the 7 day pass on the 14th.

We spend 3 nights at Tokyo and on 17th morning we head to KYOTO. Not sure where to stay yet (any recommendations)?

17th and 18th July we want to be in Kyoto and on

19th July. we head to Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport, flight is 20th July morning back to KL malaysia.

Please advise on the jrpass, stations to and from. Tq.

Kansai airport to sheraton hotel
Kansai airport - Tennoji station by JR (express or rapid,both is ok)
at Kansai airport , 2 railway comany services different lines ,JR line and Nankai line. In your case, JR is better.
Tennoji - TANIMACHIKYUCHOME(tanimachi9chome) by subway
JR tennoji and subway tennoji are connected in the same station.
Look the sign carefully or ask the station staff the way.

from Sheraton to Tokyo
You can ride bullet train at Shin-Osaka station.
from hotel, you can reach there by subway and JR. about 30min.
maybe subway is better .
take the red colored subway, the name is Midosuji line.
Hotel staff will tell the way, because many people use Shin-Osaka station to Tokyo station.

Shin-Osaka to Tokyo ,by bullet train(shinkansen).
1.Tokyo station to Shinjuku by JR chuo line. and take a taxi(1 km) to the hotel.
2.Tokyo station to SHINJUKU-GYAOEMMAE by subway Marunouchi line and walk to the hotel.

From Kyoto to Kansai airport, JR express Haruka can reach directory.
