Could Official passport use with Jr pass? Usually, official passport can enter Japan without visa with short period 14days. Anyone, can answer?

Hi there,
The answer to anyone wishing to use the JR Pass is: You need to have a foreign passport + temporary visitor visa in your passport. Without it, you can't use the JR Pass.
Please ask the staff at immigration to stamp your passport if you plan on using an automatic gate.
