This is my first time in Japan. I already bought JR Pass for 7 days. I wonder whether I can travel from Aomori to Toyama ( to track Alpine route). Is there a night bus from Tokyo to Toyama operated by JR. can I use my JR pass with that night bus? Therefore I can take Shinkansen from Aomori back to Tokyo then take a night bus to Toyama.

Hi there,
Unfortunately there's no night bus covered by the JR Pass. I would suggest using the Shinkansen during the day instead. The trip Aomori - Tokyo is non stop and takes a couple of hours, so perhaps you could get some shut-eye there.
