Hello! I am going to Japan in April 2026 with my daughter. We will only be 10 days in the country and our itinerary is: Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo (one day trip to Ghibli park in Aichi).
Is it worth getting a pass or purchase individual tickets? 7 day pass is probably best, but we welcome any suggestion.

I recommend the 7-day Nationwide JR Pass for your itinerary, offering significant convenience and flexibility. While purchasing individual tickets remains an option, the pass justifies its cost through the ease of use over your seven days of major travel. Please note that a seat reservation is still required for Shinkansen journeys.
