can I use my JR pass from Kyoto station to travel to Uzumasa and Arashiyama?
can I use my JR pass for all train under the management of JR?

Hi there,
Yes, you will be able to use the JR Pass to get to Uzumasa and Arashiyama JR stations. Here is a sample itinerary to Uzumasa and to Arashiyama (station name is Saga-Arashiyama).
Yes, you can use the JR Pass for all trains under the management of JR except for the Nozomi and Mizuho class bullet trains. All other Normal, Express and Bullet trains (shinkansen) are valid for use with a JR Pass.
