Hi,
we want to use the green pass. Do you really have to reserve a seat in advance? What happens if you miss the train?
Is it possible to make a resevation for the next train also short before a train leaves. If it's fully booked we can't get on the
train?

Hi there,
All Green Seats are by reservations only but you can reserve tickets for the next train if you happen to miss one.
Trains in Japan are rarely fuller booked, let alone Green Class. Most people prefer to travel in Green Class because its a lot more quiet than normal class.
