We will spend 3 weeks in Japan traveling south to north. Part of the places we want to travel to are Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Hakote. We actually get a private tour https://gowithguide.com/japan to visit all destinations. Not sure if a JR rail pass for 21 days is worth it? I can't also find Shinkansen ticket prices online. It will depend on how much travel you do (basically the answer for any JR Pass is it worth it? question).
