Basically, we bought 2 week rail passes, but our travel plans have changed a bit. We are going to stay in Japan another whole week. Just wondering if I can add to it or buy a seperate one completely... Thanks for any help!

I'm afraid it's not possible to extend Japan rail passes that have already been purchased - the only way around it is to purchase another rail pass :(.
