What is it First class JR pass, what is the difference from regular one and does it have reserved places any time or I have to reserve it before the trip?

Hi Leonid,
We have a good blog post explaining the benefits of the First Class (green seats. First class seats are always reserved so you should remember to reserve a seat before you board the train (free, very easy and quick to do at the ticket office in the station on presentation of your rail pass).
Green car Japan Rail Pass holders are also able to use reserved and non-reserved normal class seating if you are in a rush.
