Hello,
If I purchase a 7-days pass and I begin to use it on April 7 at 1 PM, what day will it expire? April 13 at 1 PM or April 14 at 1 PM?

Hi there,
The JR Pass is counted in days (not hours) and the first day is counted as a full day, no matter what time you first get on the train.
This would mean that activating your JR Pass on the 7th will mean that the JR Pass is valid until the 13th (until midnight).
